NEED TO KNOW
Let's get you out there! Below, you'll find answers to all of your questions so you can have an amazing tubing experience.
We can't wait to see you!
Depending on the speed of the water that day and weather, the float can vary between 2-3.5 hours. Bring snacks and come relax!
The Saluda River is about 200 miles long, so different sections will vary. (We have the best part, if we do say so ourselves!)
Our section is what you would consider a lazy river, so it has sections of calm floating and also small rapids. You'll see plenty of turtles, birds and fish. You might even see a beaver or two.
The temperature during the summer is typically in the 70s, making it perfect for cooling off on a hot day.
We require life jackets throughout the ride, as the depth can vary between a few feet to 30+ feet.
All tubers meet at SORC at 1001 Old Easley Highway in Greenville SC, where you'll find plenty of parking.
Once you sign in and get your life jacket, you'll jump on one of our buses to the drop-in point. When you're done, we'll pick you up and bring you back to your car. Easy peasy!
Adults, kids, dogs... we love everyone! For safety reasons, children MUST be at least 42" tall to float with us and everyone must wear a life jacket, which is provided (please see below).
Dogs float free as long as they are well-behaved and adorable. And, since we've never seen a non-adorable dog, that means all good boys and girls are welcome!
Please note: Our life jackets fit adults and youth sizes 50-90 pounds. If your child is under 50 pounds and cannot fit our life jackets, you are responsible for providing a Coast Guard-approved life jacket for your child.
That is a big YES! We love puppers, so as long as they are well-behaved, they float free.
Please be prepared for lots of pets. Must pet the pups.
We want you to have an amazing time, so here are a few things to keep in mind and bring:

Yes, we definitely recommend booking your ticket online before arriving, as the summer months can get busy. We want to make sure you have an exceptional experience and we can get you to the river quickly!
If we have to cancel tubing due to bad weather, you can choose to reschedule your float or receive a digital gift card for later use.
You'll find this information on your booking confirmation email to make it easy.
Absolutely! If you have 10-30 people in your group, please choose the Group Tubing Ticket so that you'll get the group discount.

We float rain or shine (as long as it is not storming!)

There are no refunds if your trip is terminated due to no-show or violations of our policies.
If we must cancel floats due to adverse weather or poor river conditions, you will receive an email with instructions on rescheduling your float or you can receive a gift card for later use or refund.
You're awesome. Let's be friends!
